How can I backup my data, settings and sorters?

To backup your data, settings, and watchlist information you go to Dashboard >> File >> Export/Backup.

Click that, and on the Export window that comes up, select all the data that you want to copy. Note that there are several security options for your export file. Select where the file should be located and hit the Export button - the file will be created.

If you want to load your data on the same computer or on another, use the Import/Restore option in the File menu to import the previously exported settings and data.

File types used in the HAMMER Pro are as follows:

.Layout = This file contains the positions of the windows only, indicating their arrangement and layout.
.HMRExport = This file serves as a backup file, containing all the settings, symbols, portfolios, and visualizations used in the HAMMER Pro.
